Henry Clark - Senior Coach - TAMU Rec
Center
Henry has been involved in competitive swimming since the age of 5.
He is an
All-American, Senior National and Olympic Trial qualifier, specializing
in butterfly and distance freestyle. As a masters swimmer, Henry
won the men's 40-44 100 meter butterfly in the world record time of
58.20 at the Master's World Championships in 2007. He continues to
train and compete.
Henry has his PhD
in nuclear physics from Ohio University where he swam on full
scholarship for four years and was captain of the team for three.
He
is
originally from Newtown Square, PA where he swam under the tutelage of
Dick Schoulberg of Germantown Academy and Foxcatcher, side by side
Olympians such as David Wharton, David Berkoff and Trina Radtke.

Ryan Goodwyn - Age Group Coach - TAMU Rec Center
Born
in Bryan, Ryan
has been involved with United States Swimming for over twenty years. As an age-group swimmer, he participated with the City of
Plano Swimmers under coach Chris MacCurdy. While there, COPS was
one of the top age-group programs in the nation, winning
several TAGS and Jr. National Championships.
In
high school, Ryan continued his association with COPS while also
swimming for Plano Senior High School. In his senior year, he was the
team captain for the UIL State Champion PSHS team and was named the
Swimming World Magazine Mythical National Champions. In college, Ryan
swam for Texas A&M University under Mel Nash and Jay Holmes, two
well-respected coaches who have coached for USA National teams. His
specialties while at A&M were distance freestyle and backstroke.
Ryan has been coaching in the B/CS area for over thirteen years on both
the high school and club level. He is beginning his sixth year as the
Head Coach for A&M Consolidated High School. He continues to train
and swim competitively while also coaching and completed a lifelong
dream of swimming the English Channel during the summer of 2004.
Ryan teaches
10th grade honors English at A&M Consolidated High School and lives in College Station
with his wife and best friend, Fara, an autism specialist with BISD and eleven-year-old son, Ras. He can be reached most easily by e-mail at

Kevin Herlihy -
Junior Age Group Coach - TAMU Rec Center
Kevin is currently working
as a Physical Education Assistant at Creekview Elementary School in College
Station. He is a recent graduate of Ashland University in Ohio where
he competed as a scholarship swimmer and was a captain of the team.
Originally from North
Royalton, Ohio, Kevin enjoys competing in triathlons, playing soccer and
cheering for the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. He has a
passion for developing athlete's potential and pushing them to succeed.
He takes great pride in watching and aiding in the transformation of hard
work into great success.

Stephen Weber - HS Auxiliary/Senior Coach -
College Station
Middle School/TAMU Rec
Stephen is currently
attending Blinn College working toward a degree in Radiology.
Stephen's swimming
background includes competing for 14 years with Circle C (now Texas
Longhorn Aquatics) and four years for Westlake High School. While
with
Circle C, Stephen was a member of four relay teams that broke National
Age Group Records.
Stephen enjoys being
able to give something back to the swimming community.

Mandy
Ballo
- Age Group Coach - College Station Middle School
Mandy
grew up in Round Rock and began her swimming career at age 6. She
began swimming for TXLA in Austin at age 9 and was a state record holder
in the 200 yard freestyle. Mandy swam through high school with
Texas Gold and competed in Junior Nationals.
Mandy is
currently a junior at Texas A&M studying Sports Management. She
loves watching the kids learn new things and excelling in a sport they
love.

Sarah Weber -
Novice Coach - College Station Middle School
Originally from Austin, Sarah began
competitive swimming at the age of 4 with Circle C/Longhorn Aquatics and
later with Lost Creek Aquatics and Westlake High School.
Sarah is currently attending Blinn College
where she is majoring in nursing. She enjoys helping kids improve and
worked was a counselor with the Texas A&M Swim Camp during the summer of
2009.

Samantha Bourne -
Novice Coach - College Station Middle School
Sam grew up moving
around the country with her father in the military. She began
swimming with the Aggie Swim Club during her seventh grade year and
continued with the Club through her graduation from A&M Consolidated
High School.
Sam is currently
beginning her third year at Blinn College with hopes of becoming a
special education teacher.
She also enjoys working
with kids and was a counselor with the Texas A&M Swim Camp during the
summers of 2008 and 2009.

Austin Riley - Age Group Development Coach - College Station Middle School
Originally from Madison, Wisconsin,
Austin started swimming during his freshman year in high school, where
he competed all four years for the Aggie Swim Club and Consolidated High
School in College Station and was a three time high school regional
qualifier in breaststroke and the IM.
Austin is currently attending Blinn
College and he enjoys triathlons, reading and spending time with family
and friends. He also enjoys working with kids and was a counselor
with the Texas A&M Swim Camp during the summers of 2008 and 2009.

Alexis Grothe - Age Group Development Coach - College Station Middle
School
Alexis is from Las Vegas, NV where she grew
up swimming for the Boulder City Henderson Swim Team for 13 years under the
direction of Mike Polk. She is a NCSA Junior National Finalist and a
NCSA All Star Team Member (2007). She has competed at Nationals in New
York in 2007 and Georgia in 2008 and she was the Nevada State Champion in
the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly. Alexis has signed with the Texas
A&M women's swim team and will swim for Steve Bultman starting in the
spring, 2010. She will major in Kinesiology.
Alexis has taught stroke technique classes
for junior high swimmers and she enjoys being able to watch kids enjoy the
sport as much as she always has.

Shannon Clark - Junior/Age Group Coach - Bryan Aquatic Center/TAMU Rec Center
Originally from New Jersey, Shannon began swimming competitively at the
age of 4. She has been involved with the sport of swimming for the
better part of 20 years. As an age-group swimmer, Shannon held New
Jersey Age Group State Records in the 100 backstroke and 200 IM. At age
12 she was the youngest swimmer in her team's history to qualify for
YMCA Nationals. In college, Shannon swam for Ohio University in Athens,
Ohio where her specialties
were the 100 and 200 backstroke.
Shannon has continued to be involved in swimming through her children,
Tyler (18) and Haley (16) who have been active members of
the Aggie Swim Club for the last 8 years. She has been the Club's
Administrator for the last 8 years and has coached Novice, Age Group
Development, Age Group and Junior programs with the Club since 2002. She also
coached with the College Station Tsunamis during the 2004 summer season
and worked with the Bryan Barracudas during the summers of 2005, 2006
and 2007.
Shannon is also the Director of the Texas A&M University Swim Camp.

Megan Lanik - Age Group Development Coach - Huntsville Aquatic Center
Megan grew up
swimming for Alamo Area Aquatics in San Antonio, Texas. In high school
she competed for Winston Churchill High School.
Megan's
coaching experience includes being the head coach for Castle Hills Forest
summer league for 3 years and coaching for the Rogers Ranch Waverunners.
Megan is
currently a junior at Sam Houston State University majoring in Biology with
a minor in Health. She is President of Alpha Chi Omega and enjoys
working out, reading and crafting. She loves coaching swimmers who
enjoy the sport as much as she does. Helping swimmers set their goals
and watching them achieve them is her reward!!
