The Aggie Swim Club
is a year round USA Swimming team located in Bryan/College Station,
Texas, under the direction of Texas A&M Head Women’s Swimming Coach,
Steve Bultman. The team boasts of swimmers of all levels from beginners
(able to complete at least one length of the pool unassisted) to the
very experienced, varying in age from 5 to 55. To accommodate
these varying levels, we offer swim programs at
four
locations in the Brazos Valley area - the Texas A&M University Recreation
Center, the Bryan Aquatic Center, the College Station Middle School
Natatorium and the Huntsville Aquatic Center - and offer various
practice times depending on the swimmer’s level and the location.
MISSION STATEMENT:
To enhance and develop the heart, minds and souls of our
swimmers in the Brazos Valley for success in and out of the swimming arena.
TEAM GOALS:
To help us achieve the principles set out in
our mission statement, we set these goals for our team:
1. To help our swimmers define, set
and achieve their own personal goals for their swimming.
2. To help our swimmers respect,
encourage and celebrate the goals and successes of their teammates.
3. To teach our swimmers, through the
use of goals, the life skills of organization, dedication and self-motivation.
4. To provide children of the Brazos
Valley with a safe and fun environment in which to learn and appreciate what can
be a life-long sport.
5. To encourage parent support and
participation in the success of their children.
6. To have fun!!
